Investors must demonstrate business experience, a minimum net worth of
$800,000 Canadian and make an investment of $400,000 Canadian. An
Investor's net worth must have been legally obtained. Assets of an
Investor's spouse/common-law partner/same-sex partner are also included
when assessing the net worth.
Prior to visa issuance, Investors
must pay $400,000 Canadian to the Canadian Government. The investment is
not refundable after visa issuance and is locked in for the period of 5
years.

Generally with a payments of approximately $130,000 Canadian, as the cost
of financing, an investor can secure the maximum loan in order to complete
the required $400,000 Canadian investment.
